This game help put id software on the maps. Can be played for both competitive and casual play. Nearly 20 years old and still gets updated till date. Not to mention I can't get COD2 to play at all on this Windows 7 64-bit PC. This has %$#! up one of my favorite games. I cannot work anymore and I like to game single player and multiplayer. I was in a street crosswalk 3 years ago and an old man hit me with his car and sent me 40 feet down the street and I landed head-first like a Lawn Dart.
Could someone take mercy on me and do a little hand-holding and get me through this? I really need help. What caused this? Was it Steam? Is this going to be fixed? Please, I am freaking out.
My config files all are set for Fullscreen properly. Even the ALT + ENTER doesn't work and that is supposed to be the windowed/fullscreen toggle. What the %$#! happened! I have tried all the "fixes" I could find and no joy. Now I go online and look in the Steam Discussions and there is NO solution. I come back to play a week later and the game only plays in a small window, not fullscreen. I play cod4 and have fun in singleplayer. I just get all my games working after having to buy a new PC.
